Disclaimer
SpainTax provides tax filing services for non-resident property owners in Spain. The information on this website is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute legal or tax advice tailored to your individual circumstances.
Jon W. Olsen acts as an authorised collaborator of the Agencia Estatal de Administración Tributaria (AEAT) and is licensed to submit Modelo 210 on behalf of clients. Filings are made in accordance with Spanish tax law, specifically the Impuesto sobre la Renta de no Residentes (IRNR).
Tax calculations on this website are indicative. The final tax amount is determined by the applicable Spanish tax rules at the time of filing. SpainTax accepts no liability for errors arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the client.
Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to every order placed through spaintax.com. You accept them explicitly on the order screen before you pay. The Cancellation & Refunds section below forms an integral part of these terms.
Who provides the service
The service is provided by JON WILHELM OLSEN, NIF X0765974M, Calle Azores 2, 35580 Playa Blanca, Las Palmas, Spain, trading as SpainTax, colaborador social with the Agencia Estatal de Administración Tributaria (AEAT). Contact: mail@spaintax.com, telephone +34 606 595 140.
Scope of the service
We prepare the Modelo 210 form for the non-resident tax on your Spanish property, check the details and file the return electronically with the AEAT on your behalf. This is a digital service; nothing is shipped physically and no delivery charges are made.
Prices
Our fee is €87 for the first return and €43.50 for each further return in the same order, the number of returns being the number of owners multiplied by the number of tax years. A garage or storeroom belonging to the same property is included at no extra cost. All amounts are final; nothing is added.
In addition to the fee you pay the tax itself, which we forward to the AEAT on your behalf when filing. Both amounts are shown separately before you pay.
Payment
You pay by Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card, with Apple Pay, or with Bizum. Payment runs through the secure payment page of Getnet (Getnet Europe, Entidad de Pago, S.L.U., Banco Santander group), with strong customer authentication under PSD2. Your card details are entered at Getnet and never pass through this website; we store no card numbers. If a card payment cannot be completed, you may settle the order by invoice and bank transfer. The contract is concluded at the moment the payment is authorised and you receive the confirmation by e-mail.
Performance and delivery
Immediately after payment you receive an e-mail confirmation with your reference number. If the details are complete we prepare the return and normally file it with the AEAT within five working days. You then receive the proof of filing issued by the AEAT as a PDF by e-mail. If details are missing or cannot be verified we contact you, and the period starts once we have received what was missing. Returns bound by a statutory deadline are filed before that deadline, provided the order reaches us in time.
Your information
You are responsible for the information you provide being correct and complete, in particular the NIE number, the ownership split and the Referencia Catastral. We accept no liability for the consequences of incorrect or incomplete information. Where an error is ours, we correct the filing at our own cost.
Cancellation, refunds and withdrawal
You may cancel the order free of charge at any time while the return has not yet been filed with the AEAT, and you then receive the full amount back, the fee included. As a consumer you also have a 14-calendar-day right of withdrawal under Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007. Because filing is often urgent, on the order screen you expressly ask us to begin work before that period expires. Refunds are always made by the same means of payment. The full arrangement, with time limits and how to cancel, is set out in Cancellation & Refunds.
Personal data
We process your data solely in order to prepare and file the return. See Privacy Policy for the full explanation.
Complaints and governing law
Complaints may be sent to mail@spaintax.com; we reply within one working day. This agreement is governed by Spanish law and the competent court is that of Arrecife, Lanzarote, Spain.
Cancellation and refund policy
This policy applies to every order placed on spaintax.com. It forms part of our terms of service and is presented again on the checkout page before payment is taken.
What you pay for
An order consists of two separate amounts. The first is our service fee: €87 for the first tax return and €43.50 for each additional return in the same order. The second is the tax itself, which we forward to the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) on your behalf when the Modelo 210 is filed. The two are shown separately at checkout and are treated differently below.
Are refunds possible?
Yes. You may cancel your order at any time before the tax return has been filed with the AEAT, and you will be refunded in full: both the service fee and the tax amount. No reason has to be given.
Once the return has been filed, the service has been performed and the service fee is no longer refundable. The tax amount is by then in the hands of the AEAT and can only be recovered through the AEAT itself; if you believe the amount was wrong, contact us and we will tell you how to apply to the AEAT for a correction. Where the error is ours, we correct the filing at our own cost.
If we are unable to file your return — for example because information is missing or cannot be verified — we refund the whole amount, service fee included.
Right of withdrawal
As a consumer buying at a distance you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days from the date of the order, under Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007. Because filing is often urgent, we begin work before those 14 days have elapsed, with your consent given at checkout. Where the return has already been filed within that period, the right of withdrawal lapses for the part of the service already performed, as that same law provides. In practice the rule above applies: a full refund up to the moment of filing.
How to cancel
Write to mail@spaintax.com quoting the reference number shown on your order confirmation, or call +34 606 595 140. A cancellation by email takes effect from the time it reaches us. We confirm every cancellation in writing.
How the refund reaches you
A refund is always returned by the same means you paid by. If you paid by card, it is credited to the same card; we cannot pay a card refund out to a different card or to a bank account. If you paid by bank transfer against an invoice, it is returned to the account the payment came from.
How long it takes
We issue the refund within 14 calendar days of accepting the cancellation, and normally within 2 working days. Once issued, a card refund usually appears on your statement within 3 to 10 working days, depending on your card issuer; a bank transfer normally arrives within 3 working days. No fee is charged for a refund.
If something goes wrong
If you are not satisfied with how a cancellation or refund has been handled, write to mail@spaintax.com and we will answer within one working day. Spanish law applies and the place of jurisdiction is Arrecife, Lanzarote, Spain.
